This is a project created for the ARXELLENCE competition, which was a design of a municipal unit and multipurpose room. Our idea was to create a utopia for the kids, incorporating as much green as possible, making it fun and distancing from the norms of how a school normally is.
Lots of light, colors , green and open, safe spaces are the characteristics that define our project.
For the facade, we chose the use of a material that allows the light to pass through, creating a beautifully bright interior, while allowing us to play on the outside. We really wanted to incorporate the kids into the design of the building, thus the facade was designed with a technique which allows us to apply on them the drawings of the kids. This way it always changes, making our building playful and fun.
